A STAIRS PRESS photography poster featuring the work “Hokkaido February, 2021” by photographer Yan Chaofan. This is a landscape-format print of one of the photographs included in the photobook “Burning In The Stone IV.”

A photograph taken in Hokkaido in February 2021. A lake stretches beyond the snow-covered slopes, with an island floating on the water and distant mountains reflected in the pale winter light.

“Burning In The Stone” is a series of works in which Yan explores the memories of places encountered during travel and the emotions within himself through the landscapes he encounters. This work, capturing a quiet winter scene, also layers the vastness of nature with a personal gaze directed toward the landscape.

※The poster will be rolled and shipped in a box.
