A monochrome photograph capturing a shoreline lined with slender trees beyond the water. The trunks and branches of the trees along the water’s edge, the dark woods and bright sky, and the texture of the water’s surface unfold across the landscape-oriented frame.
“Burning In The Stone” is a series of works in which WAN contemplates the memories of places and emotions within himself through landscapes encountered while traveling. This photograph captures the contours of nature and the stillness of the water’s edge.
