This is a special edition of "Water," the second collection of pastel paintings by Kyohei Sakaguchi, which features pastel works he created between autumn/winter 2020 and summer 2021, following the great success of his previous work, "Pastel."

It contains 237 works that capture moments where light, water, and wind intersect with pastels, gently blending the figurative and the abstract. The fresh, vibrant images born from his daily observations and creative process fix onto paper the sense of his continuous connection with nature.

The format and binding have been completely redesigned from the previous work, and the number of pages has significantly increased. It includes the essay "I will continue to draw every day until I die" (bilingual Japanese/English), which describes how Sakaguchi observes and continues to depict the "play of light, water, and wind."

This special edition, with its unique binding, offers a glimpse into the core of Sakaguchi's current artistic creation.
