Ayame Ozaki

Graduated from Kobe University Faculty of Education.
After working at the Overseas Children Education Promotion Foundation, she became a curator at the Japan Toy Museum in 1990.
For over 30 years, she has been involved in researching and collecting folk toys from around the world and building a research network. She has planned numerous exhibitions and lectures both inside and outside the museum, including "Christmas Around the World" and "Hina Doll Exhibition," with over 300 planned exhibitions in total. Her specialty is children's culture surrounding seasonal festivals.

Her publications include "Mamagoto" (Bunkeido, 2014), "Illustrated Guide to Interesting Toys in Japan and the World" (co-authored, Kobe Shimbun Publishing Center, 2017), "Folk Toys of the World - Japan Toy Museum Collection" (Daifuku Shorin, 2020), and "Chinese Folk Toys - Japan Toy Museum Collection" (Daifuku Shorin, 2022).
