David Hockney
Born on July 9, 1937, in Bradford, England.
He enrolled in the Royal College of Art in London and distinguished himself from an early age.
He is globally recognized as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, with his work spanning painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, and stage design. He is particularly famous for his series of California swimming pool paintings and his photo collages called "Joiners," which combine multiple photographs.
Starting with early figurative paintings, he depicts landscapes, portraits, and still lifes with vibrant colors and a unique perspective.
Since the 1970s, he has actively engaged with photography and stage design, and in recent years, he has continued to explore new forms of expression, including digital drawings created using an iPad.
